Hiya Rosie , Give me til tomorrow and i will try and give you a full answer , as i have to check something out .

The DWP are still working on the detail at the moment as they have been given little time to implement it .

and thanks all for the welcome back :)

I have one post to do tonight as it is a very good resource for the ESA 50 form ...i have put it under a separate post :)

Hiya Rosie et al,
right i have been doing a little research and by far the easiest links to information are as blow , bear in mind the detail has still to be worked out :

Child Poverty Action Group PIP Factsheet (Aug 2012)

Disability Rights PIP Factsheet ...

Hope these are of assistance . It remains to be seen in reality when people are transferred over , as there are already delays in transferring people from Incapacity Benefit to ESA .

Thanks Rich - this a real help. Do you have a website? It's great that you are back and I am jkust wanted to say you do so much to help so many people on this forum,
if you are unable in the future to renew then I am more than happy to renew for you. RA is so bewildering - I have only just accepted that I have it after being diagnosed
2 years ago, and you and this forum have been a real boost for me

Thanks again

Rosie

Hiya ...:)

Yes the information is in the links above ... but this is what is said

Quote:
There are currently no proposals to migrate you onto PIP if you are on attendance allowance or over 65 and claiming DLA.

Note the use of the word currently , as with everything this could change at some point , although it will mean they have to reassess even more people than planned.

Another quote from the links :

Quote:
DLA claimants who were under 65 on 8 April 2013 will be contacted at some point
between October 2013 and March 2016, and invited to make a claim for PIP.

Hope this helps

Rich :)

Dear Rich,

Thank you once again this evening from me, too, for the links to P.I.P.

When I received my letter yesterday telling me that my D.L.A and Benefits were going to be reviewed,

I, too, thought of you and decided to post on this web site after another long absence because I know

what a wealth of information you are when it comes to our Benefit claims.

Much thanks,

FionaSmile
